Being a company driven by passion for BMW, Sterckenn specializes in manufacturing high-end carbon fiber parts for BMW vehicles. Many BMW fans consider the M2 to be BMW’s best work of this decade. The excellent mechanical features of the M4 were all transplanted to the smaller, lighter M2. BMW’s goal of offering the M2 for a lower price point than the M4 was a double edged sword. On the one hand, the car’s stripped down nature when compared to the M4 represents a return to the classic M car: simple, pure, and meant for driving enjoyment first and foremost. With the utmost dedication, Sterckenn designed these impeccable parts to bring a variety of great accents to the front bumper of the M2.
Starting with the need for a front lip / splitter, Sterckenn 3D scanned the M2 front valence in order to achieve superior fitment and quality with their design. Once the dimensions were available, Sterckenn pursued designing a carbon fiber insert that did not interrupt any of the characteristic bumper lines unique to the M2, and would complement their available front lip. The final result is a cover that adds a more aggressive appearance to the front fascia of the M2, and ensures tight fitment against the bumper.
